The Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) is committed to clearly informing all registrants about its policy on the data protection of confidential and personal information which is in accordance with the new Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act Regulations of South Africa. This means that we need your consent to receive our direct marketing material. No spam.

Opportunity to support Safety 2026 Scholarship Programme 

 

To promote inclusive participation, the Safety 2026 Scholarship Programme will provide financial support for up to 200 delegates, including 50 full scholarships (covering registration, accommodation, and travel) and 150 registration fee waivers for individuals who may otherwise be unable to attend without such support.

 

Your contribution enables delegates living with disabilities (and, if needed, an accompanying carer) to participate fully in Safety 2026. This support strengthens our shared commitment to representation, equity, and meaningful engagement.

 

Your contribution will be acknowledged in the final programme and on the conference website, in accordance with the conference branding policy and WHO visibility guidelines.

By supporting the conference’s goals, you are recognised as a contributor to safety and wellbeing in a movement reshaping the future of public health and human security.

Cancellation / Refund Policy and General Guidelines for SAFETY 2026 Conference: Cancellations received: • On or before 1 July 2026: 50% refund of the registration amount. • On or before 1 August 2026: 25% refund of the registration amount. • After 1 August 2026 (midnight SAST): No refund. • All cancellation requests must be emailed to registration@worldsafety.co.za and will be processed per the policy. • Refunds will be issued within 30 days after the conference ends. Conference Registration: • Registration is mandatory for all delegates. • All bank/remittance charges must be borne by the registrant. • Registration slab applicable will be based on the date of credit of the amount in the conference account. Organizers reserve the right to: • Reject registrations violating the rules. • Reassign registration categories as appropriate. Time Zone: All deadlines are based on South African Standard Time (SAST). Communication Consent: By registering, you agree to receive newsletters, confirmations, and event updates related to Safety 2026.

Once your payment is confirmed by the Conference Secretariat, you will receive both invoice and receipt via email from registration@worldsafety.co.za.

Payment Policy:

· The bank transfer should be completed within 10 days of your online registration. Your ticket is not confirmed until payment is received.

· If the event payment is not completed within the stipulated timeframe, your registration will be deemed withdrawn, and you will be required to complete the registration process again. 

· Upon bank transfer completion, kindly email the transfer details/proof of payment and quote your registration number found within the Acknowledgment Email (received after registration submission) to registration@worldsafety.co.za.

· Please note that NO CASH MONEY WILL BE ACCEPTED ON-SITE at the conference venue.

· Method of payments accepted: Credit Card payments, EFT/Wire/Bank deposit or valid Purchase Orders approved by the Conference Secretariat (Ts & Cs apply).
